Paula Uphoff

PAULA JEAN (MARRS) UPHOFF, 53, of Arcola, IL passed away at 10:07 A.M. on Thursday, May, 30, 2013 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Walnut Grove Christian Church, 12930 E CR 1700 N, Arcola, IL. Rev. Brandon Hatfield will officiate. A fellowship meal will follow in the church basement and a celebration of Paula’s life will start at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Daron Green’s residence, 125 N CR 1200 E, Arcola, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Paula was born on July 19, 1959 in Paris, IL, a daughter of Frederick and Faye (Jones) Marrs.

Survivors include one son, Zack Cagle of Tuscola, IL; one daughter, Lindsey Cagle (expecting mother) (Dustin Kearns) of Arcola, IL (son and daughter of Jerry Cagle); one grandson, Eevan Cagle of Mattoon, IL; one granddaughter Cali Cagle of Arcola, IL; one brother, Steve Marrs of Villa Grove, IL; two sisters, Carmen (Dave) McNamara of Champaign, IL and Marilyn (Dave) Klinkow of Tuscola, IL; Paula’s significant other Daron Green of Arcola, IL; two nieces, one nephew, several great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, one sister, Connie Martin and one nephew Tony Payton.

Paula attended Walnut Grove Christian church.

She was employed by Pleasant Meadows Christian Village of Chrisman, IL as an occupational therapist assistant.

Paula enjoyed motorcycle riding, spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
