Rafael Perez

Rafael Perez, 68, of Charleston, IL passed away at 4:20 P.M. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Hilltop Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charleston, IL.

Private services will be held, the Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Rafael was born on July 27, 1951 in Missouri.  He was a son of Ramon and Escolastica (Cantu) Perez.

He is survived by the love of his life, Candy “Dulce” Glosser of Mattoon, IL, two brothers, Ruben Perez and his wife Cheryl of Charleston, IL, and Federico Perez of Meter, GA and five sisters, Justina Gonzales of Rockford, IL, Jerma Ortiz of Rockford, IL, Fela Garcia of Brownsville, TX, Linda Aguayo of Charleston, SC and Anita Tovar of Charleston, SC.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Rufina Perez and Cana Pesine.

Rafael enjoyed listening to music and watching movies and wrestling on TV.
