Randy Robertson

RANDY JAY ROBERTSON, 56, of Charleston, IL passed away at 7:40 A.M. on Monday, July 27, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola. Rev. Curt Weaver will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Edwards Funeral Home.

Randy was born on October 27, 1958 in Tuscola, IL. He was a son to Delbert Edwin and Ann A. (Curry) Robertson.

He is survived by two children: Kristy Lynn Hutton and her husband Jeremy of Mattoon, IL, and Lori Ann Robertson of Humboldt, IL; three grandchildren: Haylie, Holly and Havanna; mother: Ann Curry of Mattoon, IL; three brothers: Duane Robertson of Arthur, IL, Rick Robertson and his wife Cheri of Charleston, IL and Don Robertson and his wife Lora of Danville, IL; two sisters: Jeanie Reynolds and her husband Kenny of Clermont, FL and Barbara Chumbley and her husband Dale of Galton, IL; and a very, very special friend, Lori Grissom of Charleston, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Robertson and one sister, Ann Laraine Robertson.

Randy drove a semi for over 14 years, a job that took him all over the United States.

Randy enjoyed playing the guitar, working outdoors, and being around family and friends.
