REUBEN L YODER, 84, of Sarasota, FL formerly of Arthur, IL passed away on Monday, January 26, 2015at his residence in Sarasota, FL.

There was a visitation held at the Pinecraft Amish Church in Sarasota, FL on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. A service followed at 6:00 P.M. There will be a visitation starting after 1:00 P.M. on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the HCK West Building, 2008 CR 1800 East, one mile south of Arthur, IL. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the HCK West Building. Burial will be in the Yoder Cemetery. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Reuben was born on March 13, 1930 in Arthur, IL. He was a son of Lewis and Mary Ann (Yoder) Yoder.

He is survived by his wife Edna (Jess) Yoder, one daughter, Ann Marie Yoder both of Sarasota, FL, siblings, John Yoder and his wife Alta of Arthur, IL, Floyd Yoder of Yoder, WY; Joe Yoder and his wife Mary of Wagener, SC; Elva Yoder and his wife Jane of Goshen, IN; Chrissie Yoder and his wife Katie of Arcola, IL; Ella Miller and her husband Adlai of Arthur, IL; Monroe Yoder and his wife Erma of Indianapolis, IN and Noah Yoder and his wife Verna of Arthur, IL

Reuben is preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Mary Ann Yoder, a stillborn daughter and his daughter, Arlene Yoder and one sister, Lucy L Troyer.

Reuben was a farmer for most of his life. He was also a carpenter. He moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1993. He enjoyed socializing around Pinecraft and playing shuffleboard.
