Robert Kerans

ROBERT “ANGEL” KERANS, 65 of Charleston, IL passed away at 2:25 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Charleston Rehabilitation and Health Care.

Funeral services were held at Noon on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Danville National Cemetery in Danville, IL.

Robert was born on January 7, 1947 in Charleston, IL. He was a son of John E. and Pearl (Titus) Kerans. He married Michelle Trotter on September 17, 1998 in Charleston, IL.

He is survived by his wife Michelle Kerans of Charleston, IL; two children, Angel Cloyd of Mattoon, IL and Robert E. Kerans of Florissant, MO; three step children, Anthony Trotter, Jessie Garrett, and Brandon Gire and two sisters, Virginia Chapel of Windsor and Barbara Carlyle-Coffey of Hindsboro, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Jr. Kerans and one sister Dovie Willis.

Robert was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 98 of Charleston, IL. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He retired from RR Donnelly and Sons in Mattoon, IL.
