ROBERT R. LADD, 74, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 6:55 P.M. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Arcola Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Edwards funeral Home. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
Robert was born on June 23, 1939 in Trumann, AR. He was a son of Leo Joseph and Lucille (Settle) Ladd.
He is survived by one son, Douglas Ladd of Corbin, KY; one brother, William Ladd of Tuscola, IL, three sisters, Thelma Oldham of Madisonville, KY, Betty Azar and Dollie May Irvin both of Tuscola, IL.
Robert was an Army Veteran.
He worked as a welder in Cincinnati, OH. He drove a semi over the road for several years and lived in Tuscola, IL for the past 15 years.
Robert was an artist, very gifted at painting landscapes. He was a very likable man.
