Roger Thomas

ROGER THOMAS, 51, of Clarksville, TN formerly of Tuscola, IL passed away at 11:20 A.M. on Sunday, August 14, 2011 in Ft. Myers, FL.

Roger was born on December 29, 1959 in Tuscola, IL he was a son of Gary and Peggy L. (Titus) Thomas.

He is survived by one son Travis Vance Thomas of Urbana, IL; his father, Gary Thomas and his wife Debra of Mattoon, IL; his mother Peggy Rathbone and her husband Bob of Mattoon, IL; three brothers, Jerry Thomas of Clarksville, TN, Richard Thomas and his wife Karen of Clarksville, TN, and Michael Thomas of Mahomet, IL and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandy Lee Thomas and his grandparents, Ross and Clarsie Titus and Glenn and Gladys Thomas.

Roger was an Army Veteran. He had worked as a cook at a beach resort in Ft. Myers, FL for several years. He most recently worked with his brothers in construction in Clarksville, TN.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tuscola, IL.

He enjoyed playing pool, camping, fishing and partying.

Private services will be conducted. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
