Rosie Schrock

ROSIE (KEMP) SCHROCK, 76, of Arthur, IL passed away at 7:45 P.M. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at her residence in rural Arthur, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, May 9, 2010 at the family residence, 375 East County Road 300 North, in rural Arthur, IL. Bishop Dannie Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in Arthur, IL. Visitation will be any time prior to the funeral at the family residence. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Rosie was born on June 15, 1933 in Daviess, County, IN. She was a daughter of Chris and Annie (Wagler) Kemp. She married Edward J. Schrock on February 25, 1958 in Odon, IN. He passed away on September 13, 1998.

She is survived by one son, Marcus Schrock and his wife Leah of Arthur, IL; one daughter, Delilah Chupp and her husband Ray of Arthur, IL; sixteen grandchildren; two sisters, Katie Ann Farmwald and her husband Harvey of Sullivan, IL and Lydia Wagler of Odon, IN; one brother, John Kemp and his wife Ada of Cannelburg, IN and two sister-in-laws, Amanda Kemp of Arcola, IL and Laura Kemp of Loogootee, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Ira, two daughters, Sarah Ann and Miriam, three sisters, Leora Kemp, Mary Graber and Ida Stoll and two brothers, Herman and Martin Kemp.

Rosie was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
