Ruth Gipson

RUTH MARIE GIPSON, 83, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 6:38 A.M. Friday, November 4, 2011 at her residence in Tuscola, IL.

Friends may call on the family from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Moose in Tuscola, IL. Edwards Funeral Home is assisting the family with their services.

Marie was born November 19, 1927 in Champaign, IL. She was a daughter of Melvin L. and Ruth (Cunningham) Brown. She married Harry F. Gipson August 18, 1946 in Greenup, IL. He passed away April 19, 2007.

Survivors include two sons Rick Gipson and his wife Linda of Manchester, MO and Rodney Gipson of Tuscola, IL; two grandchildren Chad Gipson of Wildwood, MO and Tracy Schellert and her husband Paul of St. Louis, MO; two great-grandchildren Sydney Ann Gipson and Cole Murphy Schellert and one sister Freda Mason of Decatur, IL.

Her parents, husband and one brother Franklin Brown preceded her in death.

Marie was a member of the Moose in Tuscola.

Marie worked at the ASCS Office in Tuscola, IL for 35 years and she was an avid Cubs Fan.
