Sara Hostetler

SARA LOUISE (YODER) HOSTETLER, 44, of Arthur, IL passed away at 3:24 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 A.M. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the HCK West Building, 300 North CR 000 East in Arthur, IL. Bishop Howard Miller will officiate. Burial will be in the Otto Cemetery in rural Arthur, IL. Visitation will be any time after 1:00 P.M. on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the HCK West Building. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Sara was born on May 7, 1972 in Decatur, IL. She is the daughter of Eli J.A. and Rosmary (Plank) Yoder. She married Larry A. Hostetler on November 16, 1995 in Arcola, IL.

Survivors include husband, Larry A. Hostetler, 4 children, Loretta Kay Hostetler and her special friend Jonathan Plank, Matthew Joseph Hostetler, Rachel Elaine Hostetler and Lavern Jay Hostetler all at home; her parents, Eli and Rosmary Yoder; 4 sisters Rhoda Ann Miller and her husband Omer of Arthur, IL, Mary Lorene Chupp and her husband Marvin of Arcola, IL, Lydia Mae Chupp and her husband Harold of Arcola, IL and Verna Kay Yoder of Arcola, IL; two brothers Lloyd Joseph Yoder and his wife Rachel and Milton Eli Yoder and his wife Jane all of Arthur, IL; her father and mother-in-law, Andrew J and Wilma E. (Stutzman) Hostetler of Arthur, IL.

She was preceded in death by one niece, Sharon Renee Yoder, one nephew, Duane Allen Hostetler, one sister, Ella Marie Yoder, grandparents Joe and Amanda Yoder and Joni and Anna Plank and one Uncle Wilmer Yoder, a mother-in-law, Ruby D. (Chupp) Hostetler.

Sara was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
