Sovilla Miller

SOVILLA A. MILLER, 81, of Arthur, IL passed away at 8:40 P.M. on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Mason Point in Sullivan, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Pleasant View Church in rural Arcola, IL. Pastor Howard Kuhns will officiate. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Pleasant View Church in rural Arcola, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Sovilla was born on April 13, 1932 in Jonathan Creek TWP in Moultrie County. She was a daughter of Adlai B. and Katie (Mast) Miller.

She was a faithful member of the Pleasant View Church in rural Arcola, IL

Sovilla leaves to mourn, two sisters, Lucy Schrock and Ella Bontrager and her husband Ray all of Arthur, IL; three sisters-in-law, Mattie Miller of Arthur, IL, Alta Miller of Arcola, IL and Ardyth Miller of Springfield, IL; brother-in-law, Adlai E. Yoder of Sullivan, IL and twenty-nine nieces and nephews.

Sovilla was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Henry, Fred and Dannie Miller; one sister, Lena and brother-in-law, Ben W. Schrock; one niece and one nephew.
