Summer Pollock

SUMMER LYNN “SIS” POLLOCK, 26, of Humboldt, IL passed away at 12:12 A.M. on Wednesday, October, 26, 2011 in Douglas County, IL.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street in Arcola, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at the Arcola Center located at the Corner of Rt. 45 and Main Street in Arcola, IL. Rev. Kenny Bontrager will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery.

Summer was born on September 26, 1985 in Bullhead City, AZ. She was a daughter of Rod and Debbie (Garcia) Pollock. She married Austin Gude on August 13, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV.

Summer is survived by her husband Austin Gude of Arthur, IL; her son, Ryder Andrew Pollock; her parents, Rod Pollock and his wife Carol of Arcola, IL and Debbie Elliott and her husband Rob of Tonopah, NV; her grandparents, Bill and Barbara Pollock of Tuscola, and John Coleman of Las Vegas, NV; IL; two brothers, Chad Pollock and Brad Pollock both of Las Vegas, NV and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Delores Coleman.

She was employed at Jimmy Pete’s in Humboldt, IL.

Summer was a member of the Central Christian Church in Henderson, NV.

Summer enjoyed being a good mother and watching Chicago Bears Football with her family.
