Susie Culp

SUSIE CULP, 62, of Lake Mattoon, IL passed away at 5:20 A.M. on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her residence. Arrangements are incomplete at the Edwards Funeral Home.

A celebration of Susie’s life will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday May 18, 2014 at It’ll Do, 620 East Schrock Street in Arcola, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Susie was born on August 16, 1951 in Tuscola, IL. She was a daughter of Paul E. and Bessie Jane (Crowe) McNary. She married Gary Lee Culp on May 2, 1969 in Arcola, IL.

Susie is survived by her husband Gary Culp of Lake Mattoon, IL, one son, Marty Lee Culp and his special friend, Vicky Edinger of Arcola, IL; four grandchildren, Hasha Miller and her husband Jordan, Martin Zachary Culp, Blake Ryan Culp and Bret Staton Culp all of Arcola, IL; one great-granddaughter Jaiden Miller; one brother, Jack McNary and his wife Jane of Arcola, IL; two sisters, Shirley Bennett and her husband Don of Bushnelle, FL and Sharon Tichenor of Charleston, IL, one sister-in-law, Shirley McNary and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Paul E. McNary Jr. and one brother-in-law Jim Tichenor.

Susie enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and living at the lake.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center Cancer Center.
