Susie Herschberger

Susie Herschberger, 88 of Tuscola, IL formerly of Arthur, IL passed away at 8:09 A.M. on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Arthur Home.

Funeral Services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the Pleasant View Church in rural Arcola, IL. Burial was in the Pleasant View Church Cemetery. Wesley Yoder officiated. Visitation was held from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Pleasant View Church in rural Arcola, IL. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.

Susie was born February 26, 1923 in Arthur, IL. She was the daughter of Joseph and Tillie (Beachy) Schrock. She married Edward J. Herschberger on November 30, 1943 in Arthur, IL. He passed away on March 29, 1994.

Susie is survived by her son Vernon Herschberger of Lindale, Texas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Cora Yutzy of McMinnville, Oregon and one brother Dan T. Schrock Phoenix, Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband along with three sons Merle, Phillip, and Edward (JR) Herschberger and one daughter Velma Herschberger. She was also preceded in death by thirteen brothers and sisters.

She was a member of the Pleasant View Church of Arcola.

Memorials were made to the Pleasant View Church.
