Suzanna Jo "Suzy" Sigler

Suzanna Jo “Suzy” Sigler, 57, of Arthur, IL passed away at 8:26 A.M. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Penn Station 122 East Progress St., Arthur, IL (Suzy’s family ask that everyone please dress casually). Private burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery. Rev. John Stewart will officiate. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Suzy was born on March 5, 1967, in Mount Clemens, MI. She was a daughter of James Robert and Joanna Kay (Bradford) Sigler.

Suzy is survived by her father, James Sigler of Arthur, IL, one brother, Tony Sigler of Lovington, IL; one sister, Angie Hollingsworth and her husband Scott of Decatur, IL; a half-sister, Kallie Moore of Alturas, FL; one step-son, Caleb Poynter of Kingsland, GA; two nieces, Brittanie Lough and her husband Nick of Tuscola, IL and Macy Hollingsworth of West Chester, OH and one nephew, Jake Hollingsworth of Arthur, IL.

Her mother, Joanna Kay Sigler, one stepdaughter, Christina Poynter, and her maternal grandparents, Everett and Mildred Bradford as well as her paternal grandparents, Noble and Eileen Sigler preceded her in death.

Suzy was a 1985 graduate of Arthur High School. She started working at The Old Heidelberg while she was in High School. She later went to work for Paul and Judy Schrock at the Chesterville Antique Mall. She worked at The Berg before going to work at Yoder’s Kitchen, Suzy has worked at Yoder’s Kitchen for many years.

She was a member of the American Legion in Lovington, IL.

She enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, watching The Mask Singer and The Voice on TV. Dog sitting for Jingles was a highlight. Her dad’s cooking was something she always loved and looked forward to.
