VERNON ROBERT ZOELLICK, 78, of Rantoul, IL passed away at 1:10 A.M. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Vernon was born on May 25, 1935 in Palatine, IL. He was a son of Rudolph and Alma (Kruese) Zoellick. He married Janice Wacker on November 7, 1964.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Zoellick of Rantoul, IL; two daughters, Heidi Lambert of Rantoul, IL and Cindy Mott and her husband Tracy of Elliott, IL; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Vernon was employed at Toll Packaging Company of Gibson City and retired after several years.
