Vicki Nichole McLain

Vicki Nichole McLain, 38, of Decatur, IL passed away at 12:53 P.M. Friday, October 18, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Faith Life Family Church 2199 W. Ridlen Rd, Macon, IL. Pastor Dan Perry will officiate. Burial will be in the South Macon Township Cemetery, Macon, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at the church. 

Vicki was born July 4, 1986, in Decatur, IL. She was a daughter of Carl Ottis and Jill Diane (Curran) McLain. 

She is survived by her father Carl McLain and Roberta Benzing of Macon, IL and her mother Jill McLain of Decatur, IL; her three children, Keith Michael Lowe, Kayla Marie Sarver and Kaylie Michelle Sarver; three sisters, Peggy Renfro and her husband Kary of Macon, IL, Heather Perry and her husband Darrell of Moweaqua, IL, and Ashley Benedict and her husband Nolan of Decatur, IL; nieces and nephews, Karl, Kole, Kley and Kody Renfro, and Tessa, Brianna, and Savanah Benedict.

Vicki was preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry Wayne and Denise (Libell) Curran and John William and Mary Lou (Graham) McLain, and her best friend Dana Marie Decesaro.

Vicki loved her children and was always putting them first. She enjoyed family get togethers with her sisters and their families. Vicki really enjoyed going to the beach, the beaches at Lake Shelbyville being among her favorites. Kayaking on Lake Decatur was something she really enjoyed as well as outings and crafting with her sisters especially at Christmas time.
