WAYNE DONALD CLARK, 72, of Arcola, IL passed away at 10:20 A.M. Monday, September 1, 2008 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Wayne was born on June 4, 1936 in Jasper County, IL. He was a son of Oscar and Gertie (Parrent) Clark. He married Deborah Elliott on July 13, 1984 in Arcola, IL.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Clark of Arcola, IL, two sons, Kenneth Clark and his wife, Donna of Kankakee, IL and Gary Clark and his wife, Laura of Council Bluff, IA; one daughter, Marsha Brubach of Kankakee, IL; six grandchildren, Paula Hertz and her husband, Chuck, Dustin Clark and his wife, Amy, Kristi and Jim Greed; Nicole Lazaro and her husband, Manuel, Andrea Brubach and her fiancé, Adam Booth; ten great-grandchildren; two brothers, Homer Clark and his wife, Mildred of Arcola, IL and Bob Clark and his wife, Barb also of Arcola, IL and several nieces and nephews.
His parents, one brother, Dale Clark and one sister, Roberta Easton preceded him in death.
Wayne retired from Caterpillar in Decatur with 30 years of service. After he retired, he mowed yards for several years.
Wayne loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing marbles with the guys at the Senior Center and was an avid Cub fan and Chicago Bears fan.
