Willaim Hendrickson

WILLIAM E. HENDRICKSON, 72, of Atwood, IL passed away at 1:40 P.M. on Sunday, August 16, 2009 at the Arthur Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting William’s family with arrangements.

William was born on January 14, 1937 in Decatur, IL. He was a son of Floyd and Emma Viola (McCoy) Hendrickson. He married Linda Jones on November 23, 1968 in Arcola, IL.

He is survived by three daughters, Tina Lee and her husband Nathan of Atwood, IL, Tara Hendrickson of Atwood, IL and Traci Head of Decatur, IL; their mother Linda Knorr of Decatur, IL; one brother, Floyd H. “Sonny” Hendrickson and his wife Mary of Decatur, IL; one sister, Wanda Tarter and her husband Willie of Decatur, IL and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ellen Henry.

William was an Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
