WILMA S. FAY, 89, of Atwood, IL passed away at 1:06 A.M. on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Tuscola Health Care.
Graveside funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Lake Fork Cemetery in Atwood, IL. Rev. Dennis Hanner officiated. The Edwards Funeral Home assisted Wilma’s family with arrangements.
Wilma was born on October 7, 1920 in Ivesdale, IL. She was a daughter of Frank and Callie (Romine) Sebens. She married Richard Fay on September 10, 1948 in Atwood, IL. He passed away on November 16, 2006.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Fay and his wife Debbie and Robert Fay and his wife Joy all of Atwood, IL; five grandchildren, Bradley Fay of Tempe, AZ, Monica Azhar and her husband Syed of Yorkville, IL, Derik Fay and his wife Carla of Arthur, IL, Nikki Lyons and her husband Bill of Atwood, IL and Andrea Louden and her husband Chad of Atwood, IL; six great-grandchildren, Brayden and Colin Fay, Brody Louden, Cooper and Karsyn Lyons and Syed Brian Azhar and one brother, Dale Sebens and his wife Shirley of Clinton, IA.
She was preceded in death by her parents her husband one brother, Lowell Sebens and one sister Ruth Albright.
Wilma was a graduate of the University of Illinois. She was a member of the United Church of Atwood. She was a Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary of Atwood and had been a Chairperson for the Atwood Centennial.
She was an avid reader and an extremely talented seamstress.
Memorials were made to the donor’s choice.
