Wilma Willison

WILMA WILLISON, 94 of Tuscola, IL passed away at 9:50 A.M. on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Tuscola Health Care Center in Tuscola, IL.

Private graveside funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at the Cartwright Cemetery in Tuscola, IL.

Wilma was born on February 1, 1916 in Kane, IL. She was a daughter of George and IDA (Woolsey) Brooks. She married Sylvan Merl Willison on November 11, 1933 in Carrollton, IL. He passed away on March 27, 1990.

She is survived by one son Delbert Willison of Mattoon, IL; one daughter-in-law Sue Willison of Tuscola, IL and two grandchildren, Donald Wayne Willison of Dolores, CO and Quenna M. Cobstill and her husband Ian of Argenta, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Robert and Donald Willison, three sisters, Rosetta Smith, Mary Brooks and Buelah Davis, and four brothers, Vernice, Truman, George and Virgil Brooks.

Wilma was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arcola, IL. She enjoyed reading and writing poetry.

In lieu of flower memorials, donations were made to S.A.M. Food Pantry in care of Tuscola United Methodist Church or the Mattoon Community Food Pantry.
